Dulce Ruiz

Dulce Ruiz was born in Michoacán, Mexico. At the age of 10, she moved to the United States and graduated from high school in Los Angeles, where she grew up. Dulce is a single mother of two children and works hard to provide her kids with the best opportunities for a brighter future.

At 24, she joined a non-profit organization, where she worked for six years. During her time there, she gained valuable knowledge and skills, serving as a supervisor. She provided training for at-risk youth, teaching them essential skills and qualities to help transform their lives. Now, Dulce is beginning a new journey as a Promotora with Grameen America. She is driven by her desire to help and support groups of women entrepreneurs, enabling them to improve their circumstances and excel in their futures.
