Luci Garcia

CHW/Educator - Charlotte

Luci is a first-generation graduate from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she obtained her B.S. in Public Health and her B.A. in Spanish Arts with a translation certification in Spanish and English. Luci was very involved during college, holding different leadership roles, and had the opportunity to intern at the American Red Cross as a Community Support Intern, where she worked primarily with the Latinx Community, providing resources for health and preparedness.

Luci's goals have been deeply inspired by her mother, who immigrated from Veracruz, Mexico. Her mother's strength, resilience, and dedication to building a better future have shaped Luci's passion for community health and advocacy. Luci strives to be a voice for her community, working to ensure that underserved populations are heard, respected, and provided with the resources they may need.
