Paloma Gálvez

Paloma Gálvez was born in Sonora, Mexico. She has been living in Charlotte for 2 years. She completed her degree in physiotherapy in Mexico with the goal of helping many people with their health. When she arrived in the United States, she realized the great need that there is, especially in the Latino community, to lead a healthy lifestyle and especially in the limitations they have for their medical care. That is why Paloma started as a Promotora at Grameen PrimaCare in order to reach more people and help them take care of their health. For 12 years she has been a volunteer in different places, and she loves being able to make changes in people. Paloma has many hobbies and one of them is playing softball.
