Angélica Hurtado

Senior Site Manager – Charlotte 1 & 2

Angélica was born in La Libertad, Peru and was raised in Lima, Peru. She received her B.A in Communications and Journalism from SMP University in Lima, and specialized in television production while living in Madrid, Spain. Upon moving to the US, Angélica found herself being called to serve others, something that ultimately resulted in her changing her field and earning her degree in Human Service Technology at CPCC. Angélica was a Professional Certified Life Coach, and also worked for the Diocese of Charlotte for nine years, including spending three years at the Catholic Schools Office as a Diversity, Marketing and Enrollment Coordinator.

After learning about the Promotoras Program, Angélica decided it was a great fit since it described everything she wanted to do — help and empower women to succeed and to take good care of themselves and their families. She sees this role as her chance to help see all of these women happy and living their version of the American dream.
