Dennis Escobar brings a rich background in Journalism and Communication to the program. After relocating to the United States, Dennis seamlessly transitioned into public health, leveraging his media expertise to amplify community voices and promote health equity.
With over 20 years of experience in community engagement, health education, and prevention program management, Dennis has dedicated his career to supporting lower-income families and underserved populations. He is a Certified Diabetes Coordinator, Infectious Diseases Prevention Specialist, and Community Health Worker.
Dennis finds purpose in helping communities access the resources they need to enhance their quality of life. His passion for service led him to Grameen America, where he saw a clear opportunity to empower individuals and foster lasting change. His work is driven by a belief in equity, compassion, and the transformative power of education and support.
