Nairobi Iglesias was born and raised in New York City to Dominican parents. She is married and the proud mother of two teenagers. Driven by a lifelong passion for both education and public health, she began her career as a substitute teacher in the New York City Department of Education, specializing in special education. She then went on to establish and manage her own daycare center for 12 years.
Deepening her commitment to health, Nairobi pursued and attained certification as a Community Health Worker, effectively combining her dual passions for education and public health. Her ultimate ambition is to empower her community by offering vital assistance, knowledge, and resources.
