Gabriela Ponce

CHW/Educator - Charlotte

Gabriela is from Ecuador. She came to the United States when she was 11 years old and lived in New York City for a few years before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina. Gabriela is a person who really likes to interact with people and likes to help them in whatever way she can. Thanks to the experiences she has gained working over six years in customer service, she has been able to continue to grow and help more people, especially those who do not speak English.

Gabriela is motivated and it makes her very happy to be part of this great organization since its foundation is to help the Latina community be successful in life. She considers herself to be friendly, responsible, and a fighter, despite any obstacles she may face. She always tries to see the positive side of things and strives to meet her goals. Gabriela also likes to travel and her favorite sport is basketball.
