Raisa Franco

CHW/Educator - Charlotte

Raisa was born and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic. In 2002, at 17, she completed high school with an Associate Degree in Nursing. When she turned 19, Raisa had the opportunity to move to Houston Texas where she returned to school and graduated as a Medical Assistant. Raisa then moved to Massachusetts to be closer to her extended family members and it was here she started her own family. Raisa has two children. For ten years, Raisa worked as a Medical Assistant while also making time to collaborate with the social worker's department of her children's school. In early 2023, looking for a warmer climate, Raisa relocated her family to Charlotte and is happy to call the city home. Raisa loves reading, traveling, spending time with her kids and family, watching movies and exploring new things in the community.
