Faride Rivera

CHW / Educator - Manhattan

Originally from Puebla, Mexico, Faride immigrated to the United States at the age of two and was raised in New York City. Faride was Inspired by her own mother's immigrant experience, and she developed a deep passion for empowering and supporting all women, like her mother, in achieving their dreams.  

Prior to joining Grameen America and our CHW/Promotoras Program, Faride served as a preschool aide teacher where she enjoyed working with and supporting children in overcoming challenges and excelling to their fullest potential. Motivated by a desire to continue making a difference in her community, Faride sought to address this gap by joining Grameen where she can positively impact the lives of those women around her.
