Taisha was born and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She spent her early years apart from her mother, who supported her by working two jobs in the United States to provide for her. It was a sacrifice her mother made to keep the family secure with food and house. Taisha immigrated to the United States when she was 13 years old to be with her mother and her siblings. She pursues her studies in the United States and is passionate about psychology. She wants to better understand people so that she may assist those who are struggling, always trying to be there for those who need someone. She always thinks of herself as a student, ready to learn what life brings her. Excited to help her community, Taisha is willing to give her best to make a difference.
