Yudith Ibarra

Senior CHW/Educator - Rotational

Yudith was born and raised in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, and arrived in the U. S. about ten years ago. When she first arrived in New York she faced many difficulties as an immigrant, and after many years of work and effort, Yudith has become passionate about helping other immigrants within her community.

Before joining Grameen Promotoras, Yudith worked as a community health worker at Coalicion Mexicana, gaining experience sharing support and resources with the community, such as health services, education, immigrants’ rights, and labor rights. Yudith is very happy to continue to serve her community as a promotora.
